Why is this changing?

AB Phillips is now part of AEI Insurance Group. As part of that integration, tax audit insurance moves to a direct arrangement with AuditCover, who has provided and administered the cover throughout.

Who is AuditCover?

An Australian tax audit insurance provider working with accounting practices across the country. AuditCover has quoted, issued and administered your clients’ policies since your practice started offering the cover. The change is that you now deal with us directly rather than through a broker.

When does it take effect?

The switch happens on 1 October 2026, when your Referrer Agreement transfers to AuditCover.

Does my clients’ cover change?

No. Same policy wording, same limits.

Does the insurer change?

No.

What happens to claims already in progress?

Nothing. Claims management remains unchanged. The same team continues to handle them.

Do premiums change?

Yes, most clients will see a premium reduction, but most importantly premiums will not increase as a result of this change.

What happens to quotes my clients have already received?

They remain valid. If the price improves before a client purchases, they get the better price.

What happens to my Referrer Agreement?

It transfers from AB Phillips Pty Ltd to AuditCover Australia Pty Ltd, on 1 October 2026. Clause 12.6 of the agreement allows this assignment of rights.

Does my referral arrangement change?

No. Any remuneration continues on the same basis.

Do I need to do anything?

No. The transition is handled at our end.

Does my portal login change?

No. Same login, same data, same client list. You will see AuditCover branding instead of AB Phillips.

What happens to campaigns I have already scheduled?

They keep running.

It stays monitored and redirected for a transition period, so nothing gets lost. From 1 October, please contact AuditCover directly.
